Headaches, sillybands, and a tall glass of shame.

I woke up this morning with a throbbing painsphere of flesh, bone, and brain matter where I used to have a face. I hate allergies.
Also, a while back, my eight-year-old sister borrowed my computer and got honey stuck under the function key, making it impossible to type legibly. Now I'm using a super-old keyboard that has most of the letters rubbed off, and about as many sticky keys as there are fully functional ones. Joy.

On a lighter note, here's an info-dump of websites and the like that you should definitely check out.

-Questionable Content by Jeph Jaques is possibly the best webcomic I've ever read, every once in a while when I get bored, I go back and read the entire archive. (:
-Girls With Slingshots, another excellent comic.
-Operation beautiful-- this website is amazing. It really changed the way I think, and it's a great idea.
-Brightest. Another webcomic that just started out a while ago.

So, anyway! Tomorrow is National Bum Day, a little thing a couple of my friends started. On the first Tuesday of every month, we all dress like bums and basically don't give a shit about our appearance. Hooray for lethargy! Also I like sweatpants.

I hope to be posting some photography and/or artwork soon, so stay tuned! I think I might also post a link to my blog on Facebook, so I can actually get me some readers. Yeeauh. Also! Interesting (I hope) theatre stuff will be discussed soon. Bye!

A new beginning to an old road.

So, I've decided to start (another) new blog, mainly because I have WAY too much time on my hands and I have semi-interesting things to talk about now.

Well, let me introduce myself. My name is Miranda, and I'm a sophomore at a public high school in a little college town in Illinois. I like theatre, writing, and pretty much anything shiny that moves. like aluminum foil! That stuff is awesome.

Anyway, I know it's not much now, but hopefully this blog will turn in to a more interesting way to spend your time, if you so choose to come back. I plan to include snippets of writing, random local news, and perhaps some crappy artwork later on, amidst all the rambling and complaining.

Thanks for reading, and hopefully you can bear with me as I try to create something worthwhile with my spare time. :)
